Claims: If something goes wrong, here’s what to do

If the unfortunate should happen on your trip, you’ll need to know what to do next. This page contains all of the ERGO travel insurance claims forms you will need, should you need to make claim on your travel insurance policy.


You will find additional information about claims on our Claim FAQ pages. We regularly try to update these FAQ’s, so this can be a useful place to start if you are looking for information relating to making a claim.

The assistance team is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. This includes details of both urgent and non-urgent medical treatment and also highlights the importance of carrying your policy documents and an EHIC (if still valid) or GHIC during your trip.

If you wish to make a claim, simply download and complete the appropriate form and return with all supporting documentation. The address to send it to can be found on page one of the claim form.


We would recommend that you read through the Guide below prior to making your claim application so that we can deal with your case as swiftly as possible. Some claims require different information to be provided, so please ensure you are using the correct form when making a claim. If in doubt, please call the claims team.
